Meet Kenny And Tammy Flaming

Kenny and Tammy have shared a remarkable journey together, celebrating 38 years of marriage and a partnership deeply rooted in faith and ministry. 

They have devoted much of their lives to pastoring in California, New Mexico, and Louisiana, touching countless lives along the way.

Blessed with four daughters and sixteen grandchildren, Kenny and Tammy now call Wichita, KS, their home.

Pastor Kenny Flaming is both a scholar and a servant-leader. He holds a Doctorate in Religious Studies and has contributed to theological education in various capacities. Never one to stop learning, he is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Missional Leadership at Trinity Graduate School in Ellendale, North Dakota.

Their shared passion is to reach the lost and disciple believers, with Kenny’s teaching gift at the heart of their ministry. A proud classical Pentecostal, Pastor Kenny draws from a rich heritage and is an Ordained Minister with the World Evangelism Fellowship. 

His leadership extends to service on numerous educational and denominational boards, and he currently acts as the Alumni Liaison for Jimmy Swaggart Bible College.

In 1987, while still a first-year Bible college student, 

Kenny received a clear calling from the Holy Spirit: “You will minister to Muslims.” Decades later, in 2020, that calling began to unfold as he traveled to Pakistan for his first mission trip. This pivotal experience marked the birth of Cross in Action Ministries..  

Mark 16:15: 

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, 

and preach the gospel to every creature.” 

This scripture drives this ministry, driving their burden for souls to learn and understand the Message of the Cross and to see God's word taken from a hungry, lost, and broken world.

Today, Kenny and Tammy are fully engaged in missions work, dedicated to “Running with the Gospel… To The Least… The Last… And The Lost!” Their ministry in Pakistan has witnessed thousands coming to faith in Jesus Christ through evangelistic outreaches, church meetings, and revival services. Kenny also leads monthly Zoom discipleship sessions for Pakistani pastors, leaders, and churches.

A major milestone in their ministry was the distribution of over 50,000 copies of the Expositors Study Bible throughout Pakistan. Looking ahead, they are preparing to expand their outreach into several prominent Islamic nations, continuing to fulfill the calling placed on their hearts so many years ago.
