Meet Kenny And Tammy Flaming

Kenny and Tammy, who have been married for an impressive 37 years, share a deep bond that is reflected in their ministry. They met in high school and have dedicated most of their lives to pastoring in California, New Mexico, and Louisiana. 

Kenny and Tammy have four daughters and sixteen grandchildren. 

Presently, they are living in Wichita, KS. 

Pastor Flaming, a scholar and a leader, earned a Doctorate in Religious Studies and has held various positions in theological training. His pursuit of knowledge and excellence continues as he is now studying for a Master of Arts in Missional Leadership at Trinity Graduate School in Ellendale, North Dakota.  

Their passion is to lead the lost to Christ and train and make disciples using his gift of teaching. He considers himself a classical Pentecostal with a rich Pentecostal heritage. 

Pastor Kenny is an Ordained Minister credentialed by the World Evangelism Fellowship. He has served on numerous educational and denominational boards and is presently the Alumni liaison for Jimmy Swaggart Bible College.  

In 1987, the Holy Spirit spoke a calling to this young first-year Bible college student: “You will Minister to Muslims.” 

In 2020, the door opened for him to minister for the first time in Pakistan.

That mission trip was the beginning of the fulfillment of a promise the Lord gave many years before. This was the genesis of Cross in Action Ministries. 

Together, they are working in full-time missions ministry, doing all they can to “Run with the Gospel…To The Least…The Last…And The Lost!”

This ministry in Pakistan has seen thousands coming to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ through evangelistic services, church meetings, and revivals.  Each month teaches a group of Pakistani Pastors, leaders, and churches via Zoom meetings. 

One of the most significant accomplishments was the ability to bring in and administer the distributions of over 50,000 copies of the Expositors Study Bible to Pakistan. Presently, plans are being made to expand the ministry into several leading Islamic nations.  

Mark 16:15: 

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, 

and preach the gospel to every creature.” 

This scripture drives this ministry, driving their burden for souls to learn and understand the Message of the Cross and to see God's word taken from a hungry, lost, and broken world.
